“Zoom” trials are in full effect in the Pacific Northwest, with other areas potentially following suit. Given the backlog in criminal trials, the available “space” for civil trials may be virtual. Tsongas has been very involved in this remote trial experience from its start, from contributing to national discussions on the issues, to consulting on numerous “remote” trials, to presenting CLEs to law firms on best practices of remote trials, to modifying our Seattle Mock Trial Facility to become a formal Zoom trial studio.
