Leveraging Remote Technology in Litigation
The American Bar Association has published The Online Courtroom: Leveraging Remote
Technology in Litigation. The book, edited by Richard Gabriel and Kenneth Broda-Bahm, is a
comprehensive guide to using online technologies to conduct virtual litigation practices. Guest contributors provide views from judges, attorneys, witnesses, and jurors who have participated in virtual trials across the country, and offer advice on topics such as meeting the technical challenges of online litigation, taking and defending online depositions, making online arguments to the court, and so much more.
Tsongas Senior Consultants, Chris Dominic and Laura Dominic contributed a chapter on Managing Jurors in the Virtual Courtroom from Summons to Deliberations. This is a book every litigator should have on their desk to prepare for the inevitable event of trying at least some portion of a case online.
