Joyce Tsongas is one of the preeminent trial consultants in the United States, a leader in the industry who has made seminal contributions to the methodology, professional standards, and ethical precepts of the field of litigation consulting. Her understanding of juror perceptions, behavior and her insight into juries’ decision-making processes has served as the foundation for one of the industry's most experienced and successful litigation consulting firms. Tsongas initially gained statewide and then national prominence for her work in developing presentation and argumentation skills for candidates in local, congressional, gubernatorial, and presidential campaigns. In 1978, she founded Tsongas Associates, the predecessor to Tsongas Litigation Consulting, to utilize her forensics experience and academic background that combines psychology and speech communication for the benefit of attorneys preparing for trial. She has built a team of highly qualified professionals that has become one of the most respected trial consulting and research firms in the country.

Tsongas is in great demand as a lecturer and seminar leader and has presented several hundred Continuing Legal Education programs locally, regionally and nationally. She is a sought after media commentator on trials of local and national interest and has published many articles in legal and professional journals.
